Florines’ Story ~ Breastfeeding Photography Spokane

For World Breastfeeding Week, I met with a few different moms to help them capture their breastfeeding relationship, and to hear a little about their breastfeeding journey. You might recognize this lovely mama from her birth and newborn photography sessions featured recently on my blog. Florines is also my first doula mama, and I remember assisting her with her babe’s first latch, so it was  extra special to take these photos for her, and to see how far they’ve come in just a few months.

Florines shares a few words on her journey as a nursing mama:

“Breastfeeding. I’ve never thought how breastfeeding become so important in my life. Everything started on giving my baby good nutrition and health. But I never thought that the bonding, connection, intimacy, love and care that comes with breastfeed was going to take my relationship to the next level. Is our special time so intimate that by eye contact or a sweet smile she express so much love and gratitude to me. I have learned so much out of this beautiful experience that I give thanks to God for giving me the opportunity to breastfeed my baby and give her this kind of love.”
