Tara’s Story ~ Breastfeeding Photography Spokane, WA

 

For World Breastfeeding Week, I met with a few different moms to help them capture their breastfeeding relationship, and to hear a little about their breastfeeding journey. Tara and I met at Annie’s Bookstore in Beverly, and we took a few nursing photos in the kids corner. Thank you Tara for sharing your story:

 

“I first began nursing 7 years ago, with the birth of my first child. I started out, isolating myself, not willing to nurse in public, even discreetly. I felt like all eyes were on me and assumed it was in a negative way. But as time went on, we joined playgroups, went to singalongs and story times, and I slowly became more comfortable. Fast forward to baby #3, and we have continued to nurse through my 4th pregnancy. I am grateful for nursing, for the comfort and nutrition it brings to my children. I feel so lucky knowing that another baby is on his way and we can begin again. ♡” ~ Tara, mama to three, soon to be four
