Project 52: Week 3 – Spokane Lifestyle Photographer and Doula

Cloth diapers Spokane, natural mother photographer spokane, crunchy photographer spokane

Our theme for this week is “Patterns.” We are a cloth diapering family, and one of my favorite things about cloth diapers, is all the fun prints and colours! (To see my previous entries, please click here.) If you are new to my blog, I am a professional photographer in Spokane, WA, and I offer photography for Maternity, Birth, Newborn, Babywearing, and Breastfeeding. I recently joined a “Project 52” with a few other photographers from around the globe, and we are sharing one photo a week based on a weekly theme. Feel free to click over to the next photo from this project by Sarah Dragman. If you are interested in inviting me to help you capture the special parts of your life story, please reach out; I would love to hear from you!

  • very cute, they didn’t have nice designs like that when my kids were babies.ReplyCancel

  • This project 52 sounds like an awesome idea! And I love all the beautiful patterns and color they have come out with for clothe diapers too. It’s so much fun…who would think that you would say that about diapers?!?!ReplyCancel

  • […] On Monday we took advantage of the holiday and the kids being out of school to make a day trip. We drove an hour south to the little town of Vietri Sul Mare. It is the closest town on the Amalfi Coast to Naples and is famous for it’s cermaics factories and shops. I got so many beautiful gifts for family friends. It was a beautiful day even though it was windy and a little cold. Vietri was the perfect place to take a ‘pattern’ photo and honestly it was difficult to choose! I hope you all had a beautiful week!  Be sure to check out the next beautiful image from Esther Edith Photography and Doula Services! […]ReplyCancel

  • edith, i love photography projects, but i haven’t tried this one. i tried a 365 last year and made it half way into the second month.
i love these cloth diaper cover patterns and that sweet baby in the photo. i didn’t have this pretty option when my kids were little.
spokane, wa is blessed to have you as a photographer of motherhood. this project will be so much easier with these friends to share with each week. i hope it goes well for you. i love what i see so far. yeah. i am cheering for you.ReplyCancel

  • Esther, what a great project and I love your choice of pattern! You have such a great eye for detail I always enjoy your talent. The Spokane area is lucky to have you as a photographer in the area!ReplyCancel

  • When my kids were babies, cloth diapering was just beginning to take off again, and by the time the youngest came along, the patterns and products were getting really fun! It is addicting to find new, cute baby things. As a photographer, you can really capture it all and document your children’s lives beautifully from maternity to newborn to toddler and beyond. And having your own young ones to photograph helps you understand your clients and their needs even more!ReplyCancel

  • So fun! Love that you are doing a Project 52. It is so neat to see glimpses into your everyday.ReplyCancel

  • What a great addition to your 52 week photography project! I cloth diapered my son and miss those squishy butts and fun diaps!ReplyCancel

  • Great image! Love the idea of a weekly photography project ,definitely more manageable than a 365, especially if you have an unpredictable schedule (which I assume most doulas do)!! Looking forward to following your work this year!ReplyCancel

  • I used to cloth diaper my youngest! All the fun prints and colors was my favorite part too! I like your Project 52, we get a chance to know you a little better and it gives everyone the change to see what kind of a Spokane Photographer you are!ReplyCancel
